Periodontitis is a chronic oral disease that affects 1 in 3 adults and is caused by the bacterium Porphyromonas gingivalis (Pg). The animations describe the infection mechanism of Porphyromonas gingivalis, and Denteric’s potential immunotherapy. The therapy is administered as a simple injection. It stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies against Porphyromonas gingivalis to help reduce periodontal disease.
